Ingredients
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup water for Instant Pot cooking
- 2 tablespoons mayonaisse
- 2 teaspoons horseradish mayonaisse
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon drained pickle relish sweet or dill
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- fresh black pepper to taste
- paprika for garnish (optional)
- fresh dill for garnish (optional)
- Trivet that comes with the Instant Pot
To make large batches for church or family events, line the egg cartons with plastic wrap, and put the unfilled egg halves in the carton for transport. Put the filling mix in plastic bags, and then fill the egg halves "on location" as needed by cutting the bag corner (or use a piping bag). It only takes a second or two per egg, and they will be easier to transport and fresher. For large batches.
I can do 30 eggs in a 6 qt Instant Pot at a time.
My wife is not fond of paprika, but I included it here for "tradition". We usually mix up some with sweet relish, and some with dill and extra horseradish. You can use the dill and/or paprika to mark the different flavors.
